I have been using H&R Block software for my taxes for close to 30 years. It has made the whole confusing taxes so much easier and faster. I have never been audited using their software, but I know they have my back if needed.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Won't print only the tax forms for 1040. Prints all of the worksheets that are not necessary for record keeping.

The Basic edition works good! I use it to import last year's return as well as income and stock-trade documents. However, 4 star review because of issues filing my return on tax day. Ultimately, my return was filed and accepted after several attempts, after several hours of trying. Also, automatic updates were not working for my Mac and I had to manually download and install updates. That said, I will probably move to the online version, next year because it has all the features I require.

I liked how the software was set up and found my return easy to prepare. However, due to the failure of the HR Block server to allow me to e-file on April 14, I was forced to mail my return at the post office. I was very disappointed, as the e-file feature was my main purpose for purchasing the software.
