I have used H&R Block tax software for at least the past 6 years and really like it. The two suggestions I would make for developers is at the end have some basic questions asking if maybe you forgot to include some deductions, i.e. did you pay any property taxes, etc.. The second suggestion would be to include an option in the software where you could click it and be able to file an amended return if you find a mistake after your return has been filled and accepted by the IRS.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

After completing my return with the basic software package, the final review asked if I really wanted to make a charitable donation, amounting to 31% of my income. The problem was, I didn't claim ANY charitable donations; so I spent an extra hour investigating, only to find no error on my part. I filed this return anyway. Hope I don't get audited....
