I buy the current version every year. I have no deductions so I wish you had software for just the 1040EZ. I am a sr citizen and haven't received a refund since my wife passed in 2018.

After filing my federal return, I found my Ohio Efile had been rewritten to the point of unusable. I tried to add my state return and Block software could not allow it.
Pros: Easy to import documents
