I've use this for over 25 years and love it. My return hasn't changed very much in recent years after retirement, so considered trying one of the free online programs, but didn't.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

It's bad enough that you have to purchase the new software every year, but in order to add other features from the other versions, you have to purchase the complete new version. Example, I completed my federal and later decided to use Block for my state, and had to buy the Federal + State version!
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
