Easiest to use yet once it is properly updated.

I bought this when I received your email ad last Nov. (or earlier?). I installed it as soon as you said it was available. When I started trying to use it in early Feb., I received a message that an update was available. I downloaded it and tried to install it. Everytime I installed the update, upon finishing the update, I immediately got a message that I needed to install the update. Over the course of a few days, I tried several times to install it. Finally, at the suggestion of one of your CSR's I took it out and downloaded the file again and reinstalled. This new download included the update that refused to install correctly. From there it was smooth sailing all the way to my return being accepted by the IRS only a few hours after transmitting it.

Overall the product is straight-forward and easy to use. I wish it provided a bit more information on, or explanation of some of the responses listed. I guess they assume you have access to a tax booklet for that.

On the plus side: H&R’s tax prep app is fairly straight forward to use, which I did for our year 2024 tax return.
For improvement:
Would be very helpful to see which input items have been touched out of the MANY items listed for income input, many of which have not.
Also, importing last year’s return was problematic: even selecting in “Browse” the H&R format return from last year didn’t work. ???
The check at the end did not take you to the specific place where we missed an input - took some investigation to find the place for inputting type of health care we have.
Would be very helpful to see which input items have been touched out of the MANY items listed for income input, many of which have not.
