Reliable but limiting; no free state filing

Works well, but I might be changing to another program next year since my state’s free filing system requires me to file Federal there in order to get the state return filed at no cost.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Have been using this product for many years. I was in a flood in September 2024 and lost all of my tax documentation, including my computer and paper trail. I did have a flash drive and had over 20 years of my tax file (T23 report). I created a tax file for this year, using the report information from last year and the AGI amount is incorrect, which resulted in my Federal return not being accepted.

Quick, simple and accurate tax program. The interview questions are easy to follow and provide sufficient opportunity to obtain additional information if required or desired. Using eFile is about as simple as it gets! We have used the H&R Block software for years and would not even consider using another tax prep program!
