for the price point you are looking good, but i have a several suggestions to improve the software, as followings:
The download is not clear of what UpToDate and what i have to wait for
the menu drives overextend the view on my pc therefore i have to move down to find the next screen
the way you list out the various kinds of income can be confusing, better explanation is in order
for the help system just lacks any real help, at times it ether does not answer or tells you to look it up on the IRS site.
one particular problem I have encountered over several years is the reduction of taxable for RMD's because of QCD's. I think it is a default value, but it just seems i have to write over and it occurs.
the final result is ok, but I like going back more easily to check and re check before file via internet. your software is ok, i use it to format the return and e-file it, but others would use it if it was clearer and less stubbles along the way. i know you are forced to go in a linear path but that can be cumbersome.

Give Better Sale Pricing for Earlier Purchase

I purchased software advance October 2024, so I get the discounted sale price. But found out there was the same price during tax time - Jan 2025. So maybe let me know if there is a real sale for Basic version.
Otherwise, the program seemed to fit the needs. It does need some help in the section of tax penalty area. Trying to determine and interpret the response was not that easy, so I did pay the penalty and try to add reasons.
