The downloaded version of H&R Block Basic has served my needs well for many years and is tons cheaper than the non-basic version of TurboTax that I would (I assume still) need to accomplish the same thing.
The only quibble I have was for Schedule E (Rents & Royalties). I needed only to enter royalty information, but the interview insisted on asking me many question regarding rental income and expenses. It was easy enough to simply step through the screens and the program never complained, but it would have been MUCH smoother if rents and royalties were separated into two different subjects.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
