I had to file this time after my wife passed away in May of 2024. Software is set up for this and worked fine.

I have used this software for over 10 years. This year there was an issue with the IRS accepting my return. They kept saying there was an error with a form. I ended up having to mail in the return rather than e-file. Not sure how long it will take for refund. Not a happy customer.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had problems with your software, probably my fault more than yours. After struggling with your program I decided to try to file, I was unable to find a place for my IRS special code to prevent fraud. I hope not adding it will not result in my filing being returned.

Finding where a xx form input is, can be challenging. A "search" function would really help.
Final filing the forms can be a challenge. Especially for the state. Should be easier and more straight forward.
The online help doesn't really help. It just brings up definitions. A context sensitive help is needed. A Google search gets better results.
