Been using for 6+ years, minor improvements over that time. After starting, if I pause data entry for a day or more it takes me back to where I was, which is fine, but it is a little cumbersome to go to a different data entry point (finding where I need to go). It would be helpful if there was a way to make that easier. I know that the required forms are too arcane for most people, I just wish it was simplified some how. And I used to do corporate income taxes in the distant past and managed to get it done, so I am just belly aching!!
Pros: Easy to import documents

I've been using this program for more than 20 years. It's very good.
But, I don't like the way it prints out the 2040 form. It prints out all the extra forms even if they are not needed. Wasting ink and copy paper. The IRS doesn't need or want them.

This is not my first year using your software for filing income tax - but it is the first year that I had a real big issue with my 1099-R - let me explain - I am retired military, my 1099-R is my military retirement pay - it is not some kind of IRA - but your software decided it was and said that I had a penalty of over 5,000 dollars. It took a person on the phone with me for over 30 minutes to finally get the numbers right and then your software did not recalculate and it still showed me the a 5,000 taxes owed. I had to dump the file and start over to get it to work right.
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
