I have been using the software for quite a few years and I am really satisfied with it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I've used the H&R Block tax software since the turn of the century when it was 'TaxCut'. It is an easy solution to prepare and submit with no paper involved. One thing problematic is that the software won't download or install on older PC operating systems like Windows 7. This is troubling because a large potential user base is excluded. H&R Block needs to allow operability on older PCs !

Hate the sale of stock section. Imported from Merrill then had over 700 transactions to review because program questioned title of FMNA transactions. Waste of time. Tried for 2nd year, won't use again.
Cons: Time consuming

Works great. Makes it easy to know where stock info needs to be entered. Two things:
1. I never find where to enter the balance of my 401 k until I get to the review. What am I missing?
2. I know I’m going to take the standard deduction. I’d like to be able to skip all of the questions about taxes paid and contributions.
