Been using this for over 20 years. Works well but the recent price increases make me question if its a good value. I have a simple tax return and only use 1 electron file. You gave me a discount this year because of an issue you had in the prior year. That discount doubled the price. Some discount. I plan to investigate other options due to the price. I may you use again or not depending on what I find.

I have used H&R Block for over 20 years. I am 81 ears old and appreciate the ease of inputing the information but not the TERRIBLE way you have to record the Oil and Mineral rights. It is VERY confusing. You have to do two different things and it's difficult to remember exactly how to do it each year. If you put it in the wrong place it comes up twice and then you have to redo it, etc., etc., etc. There has to be an easier way.

The software is easy to use, however, it is missing form 7203. Even worse, on my Schedule F, every year I have to select the proper depreciation schedule for all of my capital equipment because it does not import this information from the prior year's return. HR Block makes it extremely difficult to provide feedback for software improvements. I hope someone reads this review and resolves these issues!

I was very frustrated with the 2025 version of your software. After using H&R Block software for about 10 years, the new version would not load on my old Windows 8 computer. I bought a Chromebook and it would not load on that, so I bought a Windows 11 computer and it would not load on that one until I disabled the "Safe mode". So next year I probably won't be using your software.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
