I was completely disappointed in the product. I bought it because the ad said I could do both Federal and State forms. After completing the Federal I downloaded the Vermont State Tax program only to find that it would no work for a nonresident of Vermont. This is false advertising and be assured net year I will be using Turbo Tax or some other program.

I have used your service for several years with satisfactory results. The only issues this year was that somehow I had not been prompted to input my withdrawn taxes and was shocked to see I was only getting $101 refunded. Once I figured it out I was satisfied with refund amount. The other issue was that the software auto filled a code for a free submission to IRS. It was rejected until I found out that it had auto filled last year’s code!
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used H&R Block software for years and this year was the first I have had a problem with. There appeared to be an error with 401K RMD taxation questions. The software indicated that I would have to pay a significant penalty that I was certain was false. During one of the updates the problem seemed to go away. Had I not have questioned the logic I would have paid quite a bit more than reqired.

Not very user friendly

Terrible user friendly. Can't go back easily can not see forms. It put a different amount for AGI had to file state twice. Double charged for items I did not use. Will use Turbo Tax next year. You get what you pay for. Cost me more in yhe long run. Should have just used Turbo Tax. Run fast you will be frustrated by the end of using this software.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although for most the program performs well, for me it doesn't meet all my requirements. I have the need to file IRS Form 8858 (FDEs) and nowhere is this form available in the program. Consequently, I file my taxes electronically but have to print this form and file it by mail. Not satisfactory.
