I have used H&R Block Basic software for many years now. It guides me through the process of filing my annual income tax return in an easy manner. There are helpful text screens to read if you're unsure about an entry. I just have to have the necessary tax forms that are emailed or mailed to me by the various financial entities. My filing is simple sot the Basic works for me. They have additional options. And the e-filing is the best.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I’ve used H&R Block tax software for years and I’m very happy with it. The information entered in the prior year is brought forward into the current year’s return so there’s no need to re-enter it which makes not only the completion faster but is a reminder to look for that information for the current year. The only negative thing I have to say is I could like to see all the Itemized Deduction categories listed when first starting this category.
