Instructions were clear and doing our 2024 taxes took less than two hours for our taxes. I also used the Free Filing option to help a couple of friends do theirs and it was also simple and straightforward.
2024 product seemed more streamlined than previous years and did not have the incessant prompts to upgrade to more expensive versions that were obviously not needed based on my past returns and information I was entering for 2024. Thanks for reducing the excessive prompts from previous years.

I paid the most taxes this year I EVER paid in my life. But I don't think it's your software's fault. It seems that if you retire early with a pension, you get destroyed.

I was very happy with the software BUT a form related to a K-1 form was NOT available on the software. So in the end I had to go to and pay for a CPA to complete my taxes.

I have used H&R Block Basic software for many years now. It guides me through the process of filing my annual income tax return in an easy manner. There are helpful text screens to read if you're unsure about an entry. I just have to have the necessary tax forms that are emailed or mailed to me by the various financial entities. My filing is simple sot the Basic works for me. They have additional options. And the e-filing is the best.
