Elevated Galactic Drama

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LEGO Star Wars SMART Play Throne Room Duel and A Wing is a bold mix of classic LEGO storytelling and new technology. The build itself is detailed and satisfying, recreating the iconic throne room duel alongside a sleek A wing, with plenty of mini figurines to bring the scene to life. The SMART Play features, like the lightsaber sounds and music add a fun immersive twist that younger builders will especially love.
That said, the technology feels a bit gimmicky at times and doesn’t always elevate the experience as much as one would expect for the price. Overall, it’s a cool, interactive set with strong display and play value, but traditional LEGO fans might prefer it more for the build than the “smart” features.

Great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lego Smart Play A-Wing & throne room duel is such a fun set. The smart bricks are really easy to set up and I love that they charge wirelessly with the provided charger. They are easy to turn on and off and make the entire set so much more elevated. The set itself was easy to build but has a ton of playability. The lightsaber sounds with the characters really make the set a blast. The smart bricks really add something to the LEGO set and I’m really pleased with the quality and innovation overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite the numerous pieces the model itself won’t be too big that you can’t find a proper place to display it in awe. I have to clear a spot to start construction but I loved examining the pieces inside the box as I rummaged to make sure everything was inside. I finally have a little hobby project to keep my mind occupied on something I love which is star wars! The fact that it’s also interactive as I was fiddling with the pieces and reading I honestly can’t wait to assemble the whole thing in its entirety it’s honestly a very well put together little display and the pieces itself are very sturdy and don’t feel flimsy

This set makes me realize how good old star Star Wars sets were back in 2010. What happened Lego.

Really Excited about Smart Bricks
on March 20, 2026

I'll start by acknowledging that, yes, it's very expensive to get a smart brick right now, but they are so much fun.
I've always loved the integration of Lego with technology, the Mindstorms line is one of my favorites.
I brought the lightsaber dual and A-wing over for my niece (3) and nephew (5) to try and we had a blast. We discovered that while in A-wing mode the smart brick still reacts to blue and green with refueling and repairing, and to smart minifigures like the other starfighters. Once I showed my nephew the smart minifigures would yell if the starship was upside-down he did it constantly and laughed every time while running around and showing everyone.
They both loved the lightsaber duel, with or without the smart bricks. The lights and sounds of course made it more exciting, but it's a good build regardless.
I love the voices, it's reminiscent of the old Lego games, and means they don't have to store actual recordings in every language they want to sell to in the smart brick, which would make it very difficult for one smart brick to easily work across many sets.
I love how I can take the A-wing tag and a smart brick and put it on anything I build and now it's a spaceship. And no, it did not stop us from making our own spaceship noices.
Overall, I'm very excited to see where Lego goes with this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

That doesn't sound right! Your SMART Brick should have about 45 minutes of active playtime after a full charge. It can take up to 150 minutes to fully charge so give that a go! If it's not charging or working properly after that, please get in touch with us at LEGO.build/Service so we can help.

Fantastic set

I’m 13 and this set has brought me SO much joy! I have sets like the avengers tower and Dailey bugle and this set (no lie) is more fun! Of course this set is nowhere as good as the avengers tower but it is more fun. Great set. 10/10 recommend to anybody who is under 15.

Waste of money! Smart brick isn't very smart
on March 12, 2026

We bought this set with high hopes. Unfortunately, this set is a joke. The smart brakes don't have any correlation to what is going on. My son was doing a lightsaber battle and it had some weird droid noise that just was garbled sound. Ridiculous. I'm embarrassed that I spent that much money on this set
