This set is terriblely priced. So disappointed with smart brick. Although this is made for kids and I am not a kid, I think regardless the price is still awful. I would not buy this for a kid nor recommend that a kid buy one themselves(if they could even afford it) Very disspointed in lego!
This set is a disappointment in just about every way. Let's start with the short cape on Darth Vader. Why not a normal cape? It makes no sense. The front of the Tie looks decent, but the open back looks terrible. Only two minifigures is a disappointment as well. Why can't we have four minifigures? We just got Rebel Troopers a few years ago, not an exciting minifigure. The smart brick is underwhelming to say the least. The sounds keep playing even after you remove the blue fuel pump or green hammer and will continue until the brick dies or you engage it when another color. This set should have been $50 or had two more minifigures. The smart brick is a flop and hopefully will be discontinued by Lego.
Great play feature With the tag, space ship noises and lasers are on point, my son still makes the noises along with it. Weird noises the mini figs make is let's say odd and not worth whatever transformer language they talk in. But the ship tag is really good.
This is definitely more Kid-Centric and recommend parents getting them a set
Looking forward to release of just tags so my kids can do creative play and make bever ducks, it whatever creature they have in there head and bring it more alive with the smart brick system
The bricks are now, really SMART! It's amazing how a small little brick can provide such wholesome entertainment for the family. The sound capabilities that will adjust based on kinetic motions, when we pretend to fly the ship, or when the ship was flipped upside down; the repair work with the hammer and the charging... All in all, it was such a delightful experience. Really simple and smart! Love it!!!
Let me first start off by saying I have had many many many Lego sets throughout my life. I still have the ones I had as a kid.
I’ve never had a set that was missing a piece or had incorrect documentation.
This set is the outlier. The manual sent has a QR code to scan. The QR code registers a different incorrect set for the ”millennium falcon” and this results in me not able to register this set or look at the LEGO builder app manual.
Next this set has missing pieces, but the missing pieces are then replaced with entirely different pieces that don’t fit. I have pieces in bag 1 that are completely random.
I skipped ahead a few pages and it looks like the missing pieces are necessary to complete the front….
I contacted support. Hoping I hear back from them. I had to stop at bag 2 since I couldn’t progress any further.
I wouldn’t recommend this set unfortunately. Looks cool from the picture on the box though….
