I get the idea behind the smart brick, but in reality it’s too overpriced and the builds looks really wacky and poor. I would not recommend buying any smart brick sets. It’s not worth your money.

Terrific - the set is awesome and the idea even better. But, come on Lego, what my son will do with one Smart Brick? The absence of an appropriator number of Smart bricks makes the experience frustrating. Lego should consider either sell these smart bricks individually or add more of them in the sets.

In theory this set is a great idea. In reality, it leaves so much to be desired. The X-Wing looks like a 4+ set and the integration of the smart brick compromises the look of the fighter too much. This set should include two smart bricks at this price point. The R2-D2 has a movable head, which is the best part of the set. The problem is, the back of the R2 looks terrible to accommodate the smart tag. Include another smart brick and lower the price $20. Please listen to us when we say you're not providing enough product or quality for the money.

The models are ugly, not well designed at all, and the brick itself, its sounds are subpar. This was made for the iPad kids and their attention spans are so fried these will collect dust within three days of purchase. Lego and tech like this don’t go together well. I feel that the “Smart” Brick is lazy and hinders creativity. Plus the prices are crazy. I don’t see these doing well at all. Not a good product, these Smart Bricks.

I am pleased with the set as well as disappointed! My grandchildren ages 4-6 love the sounds and lights created by the smart brick however disappointed in that it only came with one smart brick preventing interactive play between individual structures of the set. Two smart bricks are needed and should have been included at this price point ! Aside from the smart brick features there is a nice variety of structures fostering creative play for the kids. It was a fun easy build. Doubt I will purchase another smart set unless Lego gives us more for our money!

Not only a lego collector, but also a star wars collector. I was overly excited to try something new with my son. THE SOUNDS ARE TERRIBLE. Windows 95 has more realistic/futuristic sounds. Disappointed is an understatement!!!
