The Peak Design Carryology Capture Camera Clip is a versatile and practical solution that helps me take some weight off when out and about. I’ve hand carried this setup while hiking many kilometres to and fro and now wanted an easy access carrier to free up my hands. The robust build quality ensures durability, and it securely holds my camera to my backpack. I also like that I can change my configuration to any strap or belt. The mounting system is intuitive and makes it easy to attach and detach this beast in the wild.
Very satisfied!

slim clip, maybe too slim

Clip is easy to use with a small foot print on bag. Takes a bit to get use to using and the new smaller/slimmer design does make it a tighter fit on some bag but fits perfectly on peak design bags.

Stumbled across Peak Design when I bought my new Alpha 6700 and decided to go for their gear as they offer lifetime warranty and pretty thought through design and I have to admit I really love it. I mainly use the capture clip in combination with my capturelensV2 for Sony to have both my lenses (Sony 70-350 and Sigma 18-50) available for quick switching, for example when hiking in the jungle. I have to admit I really like it on the camera as well, although I usually don't use it with my camera because it restricts shoulder movement if you have it attached to your backpack, and the plate itself on the camera is pretty huge. I know this is necessary to make it tripod compatible but I would prefer it to be smaller. Nonetheless a great product with great built quality!

Great idea,hard to fit on thicker shoulder straps

Bought this several years ago for my Arcteryx Altra 65l pack, where it fit, but not on my recently acquired Osprey Atmos 50--Osprey used very fat shoulder padding. I did manage to wrestle it on there once I placed it very low on the strap just above the buckle: I extended the screws to the max, swiveled it on and squeezed the crap out of it & tightened down the screws. It's lower on the strap than I prefer, but I don't have any other better camera carrying alternative for my Nikon Z8 + 24-120mm lens.

Excellent product. My only issue I’ve experienced over 3 years of use, is the securing screw housed in the release and lock button becomes loose over time. I have solved this issue, by applying a small amount of thread lock, problem solved.
