The Best Accessory for Photographers.

This item is a total game changer. It was the first Peak Design product I bought almost 5 years ago, and now I can’t live without it.
How many times have you gone on a trip and ended up carrying your camera in your hand the whole time? The Capture Clip lets you go hands-free while securely holding your camera. The best part? In just 1 second, your camera is ready to shoot, so you never miss a moment.
It’s engineered to perfection, and you can feel it in every detail. Peak Design quality at its finest!

Great product, but cannot trust with your data

Great product overall. Love the ability to clip to any backpack strap. Gives you the ability to move around hands free. Also really love the ability to lock it in place. The only reason I'm giving this product a 1 star review is because you cannot trust the CEO and this company with your data. Great products from this company, you just cannot trust them.

Friend first told me about these, was initially skeptical because of the cost, but after banging my camera off my knees one too many times crouching at a car show, I decided to invest.
I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging, but the manufacturing of the clip itself is what shines through. The mount fits perfectly on my camera cage, the clip is wide enough to fit on every belt or bag strap I own. It has the perfect distinct positive action click you'd expect to feel holding a few thousand pounds worth of camera equipment off your hip.
Feels very solid and I do trust it wholly. Looking at their lens clip next

Best gadget ever

Had the clip for almost a year and it’s hands down the best camera gadget you can buy. Transforms any bag into a camera strap and saves you from a dangling strap when using the camera. A bit pricey but definately worth the investment!

Feature Request!

Need a simple addition to keep it competitive with Ulanzi. With the sandwich design the inclusion of or the option to purchase a plate that contains anchor points for a strap would be a great addition at minimal cost and add flexibility. The plate would sit between the two pieces today so you still have the option to attach it to a backpack/belt. If you prefer straps and want an easy way take them off with out dangling bits then this would provide a solution without having to shop elsewhere. Clip it in like you do today, but the capture system would now be attached to a strap versus a backpack or belt.
Returned my clip and trying the Ulanzi system since it provides me with the option I personally prefer. The capture is a great product, just not quite what I was looking for.

This is by far my favorite camera accessory EVER. No longer do I need to search around for where I set my camera(s) while I dig through a bag or climb to a potentially better vantage point -- my camera just stays with me, secure and close at hand. Genius. More colors, please.

Great design if it fits your strap, belt, etc.

I've been using this Capture for almost a year and it is an excellent design ASSUMING it fits your strap, belt, or whatever you're attempting to attach it to. Unfortunately, the shoulder straps on my two primary camera backpacks that I use every day for work and travel are too wide and thick to comfortably and confidently attach the Capture. I can - with great frustration - attach it to a point too low on the shoulder straps to be comfortable, as they taper slimmer as they go down, but it gets me by when I really need it.
Ideally, Peak would offer a larger-sized option of this that is wider and deeper without changing any other aspects of the design, as it really is very nice to use when you can attach it properly. If a second, bigger size were offered, this would be a five-star review all day.
And for the sake of clarity, the backpacks I use are a top-quality brand on par with Peak and ubiquitous among professional photographers; they have what I'd consider "normal-sized", comfortably-padded straps for a high-end camera backpack.

This is still, by far THE best camera clip on the market. Love the Carryology Collab, just wish the screws were orange too.
