Philips Sonicare Diamond clean is by far the best electric toothbrush I have used. I have noticed an improvement in my gum health over the past 10 weeks. My teeth have whitened and feel healthier. I would recommend this product to any individual who has a goal of improving their teeth/gum health.

Major Improvements and spectacular results

I have been using Philips Sonicare toothbrushes for 20 years and this is by far the best design and the new app puts this over the top. I've been using the Smart toothbrush since July and already showed improvement during my last cleaning at the dentist's. I have had 1mm improvements in 4 pocket areas - this is a first. Using the app allows for thorough cleaning and the new speeds and pressures are great. One of the problems I had over the years was using too much pressure when I brush, which really shortened the life of previous handles. Now, as long as I follow the app, and/or brush like I'm using the app, all is good. I highly recommend this product - so much so that 2 of my sisters use these now, and my daughter is getting hers by Christmas!!!

I never used an electric toothbrush before. I get decent feedback from my dentist and thought I didn't need one. My wife got this for me for my birthday. Wow, my teeth feel even cleaner than after a dental hygienist appointment, every time I brush. After only like 2 and a half weeks of use, I had a coworker tell me my smile looked whiter. I told her about my new toothbrush and she bought herself and her husband one. I still brush too hard, but this toothbrush is teaching me to brush gently. I am definitely happy with this purchase. I don't care much for the app; therefore, I don't use it. I am not sure why the charger has a glass? I wouldn't use it to rinse. It is just something that may break by accidentally dropping it on the tile bathroom floor. Then you would have to buy a new one. I still think this is a great product.
Pros: excellence in dental hygiene.
Cons: glass charger.

I have been using Sonicare for years. I had the 8820 Elite for about a decade, and now have the DiamondClean Smart, which is simply fantastic. While I think the app could use some updating, the toothbrush itself is stellar. Two minutes, three times a day, and I always feel like I did when I got back from the dentist.
Pros: stellar brush
Cons: app needs to improve

I received a free sample of the Bluetooth connected Sonicare. Overall, the device is very well put together, not cheap looking or feeling. The brush has been altered in such a way to reach into problem spots in-between teeth. My mouth felt cleaner and smoother than before. If I could improve something it would be the connectivity of the brush to the app. It took me about 3 or 4 times to connect, it was not very clear if I was to the brush 1st to the phone or 1st to the app. Connected to the phone shows the brush but when you tried to connect it, it would fail. Connect to the app would say that it could not find the brush. After it did successfully connect, I had no problems in connectivity thereafter.
Pros: my mouth felt much more cleaner, easy to understand the app and ques, brush head was able to get into spaces others cant
Cons: had some difficulty to initially connect

This is the third version I have owned. The previous two seemed to die after about a year. The motor would stop with even mild pressure. The newest model identifies the brush type (assuming you have the updated brushes) as to cleaning or whitening. An app communicates with the the handle and can chart your brushing habits. This handle seems better than previous models. I have to say about all the ones I have used I no longer receive flak from my dental hygienist about my teeth!
Pros: effective, wireless charging
Cons: costly, charge holds somewhat less than two weeks, travel case will not support charging
