This is my second Sonicare DiamondClean. The first was really good, but it broke after about two years. So I thought this thing was too fragile and went back to manual toothbrush. But I find I cannot brush my teeth as clean. So now I get my new Sonicare. I hope this one will last longer. The App and Bluetooth function, but they are not really necessary. I just used them for the first few times out of curiosity, then I just brush with my own pace.

Great for dental hygiene - not great for couples

Great tool for seeing which part of the mouth I'm neglecting. I use to have terrible tarter build ups between my dental visits. But seeing the visual feedback, and the physical feedback about whether I'm brushing too hard is all fantastic. My noticing that the build up isn't happening yet, and I'm hopeful for my next six month cleaning.
The drawback is that my husband and I each use different toothbrush heads, but the same app. He gave up on the app because it tracked both of our data, and he found it weird to see that much about my tooth brushing habits. I use the app, but I feel confused, because it tracks his information - so the only tool that's helpful is the live coverage of what i'm hitting with the toothbrush.

It shuts off after only 6 of the 8 sections on the Clead setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Clean mode on your toothbrush is a 2-minute mode, recommended to be used with intensity level 3. It gives you a thorough and complete clean to all the segments of your mouth. When you hear a beep, after each 20-second interval, this is to indicate that you should move to the next segment. The mounth segments are 6 in total as it's indicated in the user manual. Improved my brushing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea I was brushing wrong and too hard! The Philips DiamondClean toothbrush and app has made a huge improvement in my overall oral health. Gums are much healthier and my teeth are whiter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dental hygienist recommended me to buy an electric toothbrush, to help with bleeding gums and tar. Well, what do you know? My teeth have never felt so clean and I no longer have bleeding gums. Yes, I do use a special toothpaste as well. This was worth it for the money! Don't go buy the most expensive one! This one does the job for you!
