This toothbrush changed my life

I gave up using my Philips Sonicare HX6250 (purchased in Nov. 2016 and still running great four years later) in December of 2020 when my new dentist told me that my dental hygiene habits had contributed to my losing several teeth which have to be extracted. In particular, I was not brushing in the mornings and was not brushing well in the evenings. I assumed that I should only be brushing the chewing and biting surfaces themselves, not the outer facing or inner facing surfaces. I found it difficult to know how long I was brushing and whether I was hitting all of the areas of my teeth that I needed to. Also, I was vaguely aware that I may have been scrubbing my teeth too hard. My new Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart toothbrush solved all of these problems. The brush has a two minute illustrated regimen that shows up on my iPhone, during which I do my outer teeth in six sections. Every 20 seconds it cues me to move to another section of my mouth. I then rinse my mouth, add some more toothpaste and repeat the 2 minute cycle for the inside surfaces of my teeth. Finally, I repeat the 2 minute cycle for the teeth chewing surfaces themselves. Six minutes is easy-peasy. The tooth head has a sensor in it which notifies you if you are scrubbing too hard and now I let the brush do the work for me. Also, the app asks me if I have flossed, then rinsed then scraped (my tongue) so now I never forget to run through the whole regimen, whereas before I often did. Now I floss with either string floss and/or a waterstream pick. I rinse my mouth with mouthwash and I brush my tongue. The whole procedure takes less than eight minutes and it is well worth it. My dental hygienist tells me that my teeth are now much cleaner and I am hoping that the money I spent on this fine electric toothbrush will save my remaining teeth from becoming infected, having to be extracted (very painful and no fun) and having to spend thousands of dollars on implants (which are not covered or are only minimally covered by most dental insurance policies).
I've been using Diamond clean for over 2 years now, it's easy to use, not heavy, the vibration sounds are not bothersome and cleans my teeth very well. The use of the app at first really helped me getting an insight on how to improve my brushing techniques. Pressure sensor and the brush head indicator are amazing! The battery life is very good but charging it takes a long time. I highly recommend it!

Dark blue Sonicare

After more than 8 years with my previous Sonicare, I decided I needed a new one. I chose the dark blue one because I liked the color and its various features. My only concern is how do I find dark blue replacement tooth brushes, the retailers in my area don’t offer them.
