Very effective toothbrush however it only holds a short charge

This is my 3rd or 4th Philips electric tooth brush and does a wonderful job of cleaning your teeth. It is also the 3rd or 4th toothbrush that I have had issues with. The customer service provided is wonderful however I feel that for an expensive product as this is, there should be literally no issues. This is the highest end toothbrush Philips makes, with the promise of an “ up to two week battery charge however I have not made it past 5 days yet. A bit disappointing as my son also got a new Diamond Clean and it too had to be sent back due to poor battery life.
Pros: cleans teeth extremely well
Cons: does not hold a charge longer than 5 days

You can feel the difference from a regular electric toothbrush, I was surprised that the sonic toothbrush did that much better! The sensor that tells you if youre brushing too hard has been invaluable. The app is testy, but has some cool features if that's your thing.
Pros: best clean, sensor tells you if you brush too hard, great value for the price
Cons: app had issues connecting, a bunch of different brush heads for different thi, brush head replacements are expensive

I am being hard on this review because the highlight of this brush was the software. The brush itself is 10/10 but the software doesn't track while brushing to monitor dental health which is why I opted for the smart brush.
Pros: great brush
Cons: software isn't up to par

I love my new electric toothbrush. If you think your $30 electric toothbrush is great, this is worth the upgrade. My teeth instantly felt and looked cleaner after one use. It felt professionally clean, almost like after the dentist clean.The app that comes with it is useful and shows you the exact areas that you need to concentrate on. One of my issues is (and maybe it's just me and my method), that toothpaste flies everywhere and gets on everything . It could be me trying to follow the app and make sure I'm getting all areas with my mouth open, but it's messy. I would've given this 5 stars but my power button gets stuck sometimes and the power stays on, lighting the brush (not the bristles). I may contact Philips about it, it draining my battery life.
Pros: teeth feels professionally clean, love the phone app feature, design of the battery stand, brush handle material and sleek design

DiamondClean Smart is not smart without a charger in the travel case

I have been a DiamondClean user for 3 years. My first DiamondClean toothbrush only lasts for 1.5 years. The tip felt off. This is the second DiamondClean and this time is smarter. Is it smarter? First, it uses 3 different types of brushes. To me I just want a brush that could clean my teeth just like the moment after visiting dentist for a regular checkup. Unless the brush is smart enough to tell me if I have plaque and need a different brush to clean it off, I wouldn't know what type of brush I should really use. Another thing is that all previous DiamondClean toothbrush came with a travel case that could charge the toothbrush. I expect this new "smarter" model would come with a travel case with charger built-in. No. How stupid is this? Why should it be called a premium travel case as nothing should say it is premium without charging capability. The most stupid thing is that the new charger would not charge the old DiamondClean model and old charger would not charge the new DiamondClean model! So I cannot even use the old travel case to charge the new DiamondClean Smart toothbrush.
Philips, I hope you can build a better and smarter product next time!

Cons: very confusing brush types, premium travel case without charging option, charger incompatible with old generation

My husband and I both received Sonicare Diamond Clean toothbrushes for Christmas, and we both love them.
The product works really well, and the accompanying app is pretty cool!
I’m disappointed that mine didn’t come with a travel case (his did), because we both travel quite a bit and I would love to take mine with me. The battery lasts a loooong time, which would make it ideal to take along!
We highly recommend it!
