EXCELLENT and OUTSTANDING PREMIUM TOOTHBRUSH!

I was fortunate to receive this Philips DiamondClean Smart (HX9903/41) toothbrush for free in exchange for providing my honest feedback and review.
First off, this is, in my opinion, without a doubt, the Rolls Royce of toothbrushes. It is feature loaded, sleek, sexy and stylish. It is a very impressive toothbrush/oral health system and truly a pleasure to use. I have owned two other Soniccare toothbrushes and I have loved them both. They both were great to use, highly beneficial to my overall dental health and oral hygiene routine. They were both steady and reliable workhorses with each of them still working at the time that I decided to upgrade to a new Sonicare model. In my opinion, you can’t beat owning and/or go wrong with using a Soniccare toothbrush.
Some of the features included with this particular toothbrush include, 4 cleaning modes (Clean mode, White+ mode, Gum Health mode and DeepClean+ mode). My favorite is the White+ mode because who doesn’t want whiter and brighter teeth and an overall brighter smile. The product promises “Up to 100% less stains in just three days” with the caveat, “vs. a manual toothbrush using a leading whitening toothpaste”. I have been using this toothbrush religiously, twice per day for the last nine days, using the Premium White brush head on the White+ mode and I have to say that honestly I don’t see any stain/color difference in my teeth. Based on my limited experience with this toothbrush, I would be careful not too buy too much into the hype on this particular product claim. This model also has three different Intensity settings, low, medium and high that allow you to tailor your brushing technique as well.
I really like the charging glass that is included with this model as it looks really sleek, sophisticated, upgraded and smart. I also like the advanced pressure sensor feature this model has as it will alert you if you are applying too much pressure when brushing your teeth. According to my dentist, using too much pressure, especially with a Sonicare toothbrush can really lead to erosion issues with your gums over time. I certainly don’t want to wear down and/or destroy my gums so having the toothbrush alert me when I am applying too much pressure is for me, very useful, practical and an extremely positive and outstanding feature of this toothbrush.
Also of note, the toothbrush came packaged with three (3) Smart brush heads, Premium Plaque Control, Premium Gum Control and Premium White. These Smart toothbrush heads all have a micro-chip in them that enables them to communicate with the brush handle and have the brush handle automatically select the recommended mode and intensity to your optimize your brushing performance with each unique head. The micro-chip also tracks your usage and will give you a personalized reminder when you need to replace your toothbrush head.
This model also has an accompanying feature of a downloadable Phillips Sonicare app which if you use it, will give you real-time feedback while you are brushing and also alert you to any missed spots/areas of your teeth. This may be an example of technology over kill, as for me, all I really want and need to do with a toothbrush is brush my teeth a couple of times every day. My initial experience using the app is that it is not very intuitive and/or easy to figure out or work with. On the app, I couldn’t tell if the brush head was actually connected (via Bluetooth) and once I saw that it was actually connected, the connection failed almost immediately. Attempting to use the app for the first time while also attempting to set up and use the toothbrush for the first time ended up leaving me feeling like I had no idea how to brush my own teeth. I have since gotten to understand the app and work with it more successfully now that I have been using the toothbrush a bit longer. I probably won’t continue using the app because I don’t really want to have my phone in the bathroom where it is exposed to potential water damage and other various general bathroom filth, grime and grossness.
Overall, I would highly recommend this toothbrush as it is really an excellent product and does a superior job of cleaning my teeth and gums. It actually may have more bells, whistles and features than I and/or you may actually need, but if you are trying to improve your overall oral health and/or if you have tooth and/or gum issues, having all of the extra features and/or regularly using the app may come in really handy.
My final thought is that in my opinion, Phillips could provide much better instructions for set-up, app use, ideal Sonicare brushing technique and how to best utilize the timing of the brushpacer with this toothbrush and include them in its packaging. Because this information and guidance is missing and not included in the products packaging I really struggled initially with all of these areas and when I searched online for more information to assist me, there is nothing currently available online to address these areas for this specific model toothbrush in any kind of detail for me to have felt more confident, secure and/or proficient with initially setting up and using this particular toothbrush with all of its various and extensive Smart features and benefits.
Pros: sleek sexy stylish and loaded with features
Cons: initially challenging to set-up and get staretd

Terrific Electric Toothbrush

I was fortunate enough to receive this product for free, in exchange for an unvarnished, candid review. Wow, do I feel lucky. I`ve been unbelievably impressed by the quality of the product and just how great of an electric toothbrush it is.
First off, I should say that the actual brushing experience is great - my mouth feels clean after, and the many different modes (which pair up with different brush heads) really fit different needs well. It`s really cool how the brush knows which head is on, and automatically adjusts the mode.
Secondly, the brush looks awesome - the gray color is cool, the different light features are carefully and sleekly designed, and I feel pretty cool with this brush on my counter.
Thirdly, the way the brush charges is unbelievable. It sits in a custom glass, which sits on a charging base, and charges wirelessly. I can`t get over how easy this is!
All told, I`d highly recommend this. Yes, it`s expensive, but if you want a high quality electric toothbrush that has all of the bells and whistles to improve your dental hygiene (and convenience), you`ll be very happy.

Truly a great product!

There are various modes of cleaning depending on speed and intensity such as Clean, White, Gum Health, and Deep Clean. Package comes with 3 brush heads and, after using one for one week, was very efficient in brushing and cleaning my teeth.
Another wonderful feature of this product is the sturdy travel case which, when I travel away in the future, will come in good use. The accompanying charger charged up the toothbrush within a matter of hours.
But, the best feature of this product was its smart sensors which, used in conjunction with your cellphone`s bluetooth function, can look along your teeth and gums and display on the screen which areas you missed after brushing and which spots require more attention in cases of cavities and gum infection.
Though I don`t have any problems with my teeth and gums, this product is excellent for those who have a history of such problems through detection. The toothbrush is fantastic for its ease of use and versatility.

I love the deep clean!!

I love the Philips Diamond Clean Smart toothbrush! I recently had my first baby and one of the symptoms I had throughout my pregnancy was a dry mouth. No matter what I tried my mouth just never felt as clean as I wanted. Then, I received this product as a free sample to review. I am so glad I did. The toothbrush comes with 3 brush settings, whitening, gum health and deep clean. After my first use with the deep clean brush head my mouth felt so much better and my teeth had that fresh professional clean feeling that you get after a dental visit. Based on how well I liked the deep clean brush I can`t wait to try the whitening and the gum health brushes. Overall, I really loved this toothbrush but I think it would be even better if it had the uv santitizer feature as well.
Pros: multiple settings
Cons: no uv sanitizer

The Disney World of toothbrushes

I have just received my free sample of Phillips Sonicare Diamond Clean toothbrush and kit. 1st I must say I am already an owner of a more basic Sonicare toothbrush which has made a 180 degree difference in my dental checkups. So to get this beauty in the mail felt like I hit the jackpot. There are so many really cool features. The charging drinking glass - elegant, nice quality (heavy in feel), to charge:just place the handle in the glass and done. The feel of the toothbrush handle is like silk, very elegant design with see through digital display that auto adjusts dependent on which toothbrush you attach. I also have used the app that comes with this kit and it shows me exactly where I have missed, gives me extra time to go back and do more brushing, allows you to design focus areas for brushing and ensures your 2 minutes are being put in. Its like the Disney World version of a toothbrush, it seems Phillips didn't forget anything when it comes to the convenience and luxury in this toothbrush.
Any cons, I wouldn't want to travel with the glass charging station and overall its a bit pricey, and I'm not sure how often I will have the app open to connect to the toothbrush after the newness wears off (wish it could be more like fitbit and push updates automatically). Overall a great toothbrush and system. If the price point doesn't scare you, then get it, you wont be disappointed. Sonicare toothbrushes totally makes a difference in tartar and plaque control and have improved my overall dental cleanings and checkups.
Pros: different brush heads to target dental concerns, toothbrush connects to app for better brushing
Cons: i wouldn't want to travel with glass charger
