This model is getting noisy after a short time in use. I bought it to replace an older one that I’ve used for over three years which was starting to get noisy. The new one is now as noisy after three months use. Disappointing.

I love the way my teeth feel and really like the little pauses to move to the next region. The app is horrible. Often it will not connect. I make changes to my goal and the app ignores my requests. I also got an email saying I needed to install an update through the app but nothing shows on the app about an update message. I think there are electric toothbrushes that clean just as well without the expense of the app.
Pros: teeth feel great
Cons: app doesn't work as claimed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

excellent upgrade

I misplaced my tooth brush when transporting it back and forth to my camper and home. I used the opportunity to upgrade to a newer model. I can tell a big difference in the newer one when compared to the old one. It feels even more like I just got my teeth cleaned at the dentists.
Pros: awesome new brush heads
Cons: wish it came with an extra handle, need the cleaning unit now old one not compatible

The overall product is well built and works well. I have been a long time user of these electric toothbrushes. My biggest beef has to do with what is expected of us when using the product. I am use to and like the concept of quadrants. Very easy to follow and works quite well. Now we are asked to breakup the mouth into eights.. Now brushing has gone from an easy job to a science project. I follow my own routine. However I will not buy another Sonicare toothbrush if there is no option to use quadrants when brushing. I expect the next toothbrush to force us to register each tooth before moving to the next tooth. Maybe breaking up the mouth into eights has its advantages but is it really worth the trouble? . If I knew this in advance I may have not purchased the product.

I like the brush with the app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s great. I like having a record of my brushing. And with app it keeps up with life of brush head. But sometimes I hv a connection problem that I can’t resolve unless I kill then reinstall the app. Though it may be other devices picking up the Bluetooth, will investigate further. The app shows brushing on inside/outside regardless of my brush placement, that is brush is outside of bottom left app show no progress there then I move to inside, brush shows progress. Overall I do enjoy the app

It is better than previous generatikn, but it still has flaws. One is the cover get stain in first few days and can not be cleaned. The second is for minor problem you have to replace it because it can not be opened without any phisical damage.
