The main thing I've learned from the user feedback this toothbrush provides is to lightly press the brush against your teeth. I had a friend tell me that they thought the Sonicare toothbrush was erroding their tooth surface near their gums. I suspect it may have been the case because they were pressing the brush to hard against their teeth. It is a very easy thing to do but with the pressure feedback provided by this brush, it constantly reminds you when you are pressing too hard. I need this reminder constantly! Before I used this brush, I had no idea how much pressure was needed vs. excessive.
Pros: ensures even coverage of your teeth, provides brush pressure feedback
My 9300 is amazing. I have access to different brush heads right out of the box. I've traveled with an extra brush head inside the case. The charging equipment is small enough to travel with rather than the larger glass cup the model I replaced my 9300 with.
The app to view progress and helpful information needs some tweaking, but that's besides the fact this is an awesome toothbrush.
The brush is fantastic, and does everything I expect a Sonicare to do. I’m not in love with the app, because you have to launch it for data from brushing to be passed to it, instead of that happening in the background. It is too much effort to launch an app every time I brush, so I disregard that. If I did, however, it seems to have nice functionality...
I have had my Sonicare for a month now and it is doing a great job of keeping my teeth feeling like they were just cleaned at the dentist. I am a big fan of the sleek design and the charging case is also a nice touch. After I got used to the brushing sequence I decided I didn’t need to watch the app every time I brush, but it is a great learning tool. I suppose my only gripe is the matte finish must be pretty delicate. I’m a very clean person and so is our house but for some reason the handle is starting to turn a bit yellow. Overall I’m very pleased and would recommend it.
