Not suitable for travel; no charging case.

The case is only for storage, not charging like previous models. The real issue is that you have to keep the handle in the charging glass all the time. Handle will not be sufficiently charged for more than 2 cycles before it is dead.

Hi Larry, we are sorry that the Sonicare DiamonClean didn't meet your expectation. Indeed, the travel case for this model it's only for transport purposes to store your toothbrush hygienically when you're on the go. Fully charge your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush for 24 hours before using it, then the operating time will be up to 2 weeks based on regular use (twice a day). Make sure that the bottom of your toothbrush is touching the center of the charging glass. When you see the battery indicator light blinking, or if you hear a beep, it means that your toothbrush is charging. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch via social media. We’re available 24/7 on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Philips ) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/philipscare). Alternatively, you can reach out to us via the contact page on our website. One of our colleagues will then try their best to help you further. Hope to hear from you soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a week of use, toothbrush started sounding and vibrating differently. The metal tip where the replacement brush head goes became loose and I was unable to place it back in place. So I’m not able to use this toothbrush. Tried going on the website to find warranty info and couldn’t find a form to fill out. All links said to call. Not happy with this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device broke within the first few months of ownership. Phillips then sent me what appeared to be a referbished device that wouldn’t even charge and refused to send me a new one. I would NOT recommend buying this product.
I had a diamondclean for a couple of months that stopped working properlt adter a drop in the sink. I dis not register it for warantee protection and was a little disappintef that it was so succeptible yo famage by such a little mishap Nevertheless, i liked how it cleaned and bought another I find the iphone stnc business to be nothing more than a silly gimmick, and find your repeated prompts to synch my brushjead on the phone to be annoying Also, i liked the old brush’s four X 30 second timing prompt cycle The new one seems to have six or more 20 second prompts It seems to be irregular, and one stopwatch experiment the cycles lasted for over 2.5 minutes. That is too long, and the multiple changes are a distraction. I find myself losing track and wondering, was that 4 or 5? Then shutting it down. 4 cycles - and two minutes seened easier to deal with and 2-minutes seemed plenty If there is a way to change this, let me kno

Great toothbrush - but mine only lasted about 15 months. They use cheap stuff to build the toothbrushes. Quality is so bad, but the toothbrush works well - while it works.. I have had 2 meanwhile - different one the 2nd time. Same - did not last because of some cheap rubber they put over the on-button. The rubber DISSOLVES and then the button won't work!! So cheap..

Hi Nala,

The brush head barely lasted 1.5 months before the app indicated that I should replace it, even though the blue wear indicators on it were still visible.
Whatever happened to 3 months? Is this their way to make you consume brush heads at a faster rate? The tracking on the app stops when you receive the alert to replace the brush head so it's essentially a way to force you to buy another one.
Pros: the app is pretty cool
Cons: you are forced to replace brush heads in 1.5 month, battery life
