Great features, short life span

It works great, but it only later 2 years. Broke a month after warranty expired. For the price paid, it’s not worth it. I would buy a cheaper model that does the same thing, where i won’t mind so much if it breaks in 2 years.
My last electric toothbrush by a competitor of Sonicare lasted 10 years.
Bought this for the app to show where needed to brush, etc. Next to impossible to download the app.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a very early sonicare, maybe 5 or 6 years ago, it wore out? Did not work anymore. I purchased a new one because I liked the first. The new is good, the design is less, for example, the off on button which is in close proximity of the intensity button is the same shape with the same feel, easy to hit one instead of the other, that is rather lazy design. The app, has good qualities, in terms of showing how you are doing, but... it is too nagging, for instance if you only use it periodically, as I do, it tells you to use the app, and you get the red message indicator on the iPhone and you can’ Turn it off unless the app is used, I finally deleted the app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After one month use, the smell is awful, water stuck in the button, I can smell it during I use it. The other 9206 doesn't have such problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The brush is great but the app is worthless

I have had this brush for a couple months now and am totally satisfied with the brush itself. But the app crashes repeatedly. I would say about 9 times out of 10 or more, the app will crash and require you to restart it, which turns what should be a 2 or 3 minute toothbrushing session into 10 min or more, if you have the patience for that. I have stopped using the app completely for that reason.
This is the only brush that makes my teeth look and feel clean. In addition, my teeth are much whiter since I started using it four months ago. My sister and brother-in-law got it for my birthday as they knew I had been searching for the perfect toothbrush. They both use one daily and love it too! Now I even travel with it as I was gone for a week traveling without it, and I could not get my teeth to feel clean. I couldn't wait to get home to my Philips DiamondClean Smart! Since then I have traveled with it twice, last thing to pack and first thing to unpack. It travels well in the case that comes with it! Thanks for this fine, dependable product.
The actual toothbrush performs fine. The associated Philips app has several significant performance problems.

My main complaint is with the Philips App. First, it is a power hog. It tends to use 10 - 15% of my phone's charge when in gum care mode. The app seems very sensitive to the inclination of the bristles, but the results are inconsistent with use. Sometimes I spend significant time brushing one area and it doesn't register that I've done anything in that area. I now only use the app sporadically. The actual tooth brush tends to work pretty well, but is pretty pricey.
