Not what it used to be; stops working within 1 yr

I had a Phillips Sonicare that lasted for 10 years. I have bought 3 since then - all within a 4 year period because they stop working. The bottom of my last one RUSTED and ceased to work. They are seemingly not waterproof despite being a toothbrush. Used to be a solid toothbrush but they are not durable anymore. I will not purchase again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please do take into account though that while the toothbrushes can handle water, immersing them in it or letting it get into the device will likely damage your Sonicare, so we always recommend making sure they're kept dry as much as possible.

Outstanding Toothbrush!

I have been a Sonicare user for several years now. Before using the Diamond Clean Smart 9300, I owned its predecessor – the Diamond Clean. I received a free sample of the Diamond Clean Smart 9300 in exchange for my honest opinion.
This toothbrush is a step forward in the right direction for Sonicare. The Diamond Clean Smart has four cleaning modes and connects to the Sonicare app through Bluetooth. It has a pressure sensor on the bottom which, when used along with the app, allows such feedback as when you are brushing too hard or using too much movement when brushing. Having come from a similar model, I still love how well this toothbrush works. It leaves your teeth clean and effectively removes plaque. Being able to control intensity is a huge bonus.
I do enjoy the smart features. Setting goals and tracking your progress through the app is quite useful and good reminder to look after one’s dental health. However, there are issues. When brushing while connected to the app, often times the app does not reflect that you are brushing the indicated quadrant when you indeed are. I attribute this to the sensor on the handle not being as sensitive as it would need to be in order to appropriately convey the info to the app. Other than this, I have no other qualms.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this toothbrush. It is an essential tool for good oral higiene.
Pros: diverse cleaning modes able to control intensity, bluetooth connectivity and feedback through app, deep cleaning powerful whitening & plaque removal, travel case included
Cons: sensor not as intuitive as it should be, travel case does not allow for charging
I would recommend this to a friend!

Toothbrush heads do not fit properly.

I have a sonic care toothbrush that I love. I purchased this for my son and it never worked correctly. The brush heads never fit properly and stopped working after 3 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked good but broke

I love the different options with this brush, different head etc. it did break after 3 years. During that time the cons were traveling does drain the battery because of constant movement. The power button gets stuck because if toothpaste getting stuck. Gunk gets trapped between head and brush so should be cleaned often. Customer service was OK and does have. Replacement being sent but said my warranty has expired but on my account says it’s good for another month.
Ive had Sonicare toothbrushes since they first came out and we have always loved them. I ordered 2 of the new Black diamond (improved) brushes. In less than 2 weeks one stopped charging. Ive never had such awful quality from Phillips. But there are too many choices out there now to throw away more money.
After all these years youve lost a customer...Me, My Husband, our son's, their wives.....See ya

I’m having a Love Affair with my new Philips Sonicare Smart toothbrush! My mouth has never felt cleaner. I love how the app tells me where I need to brush better. This brush is worth every penny ... it will help keep me out of the dentist chair!

I can't believe it stops working so quickly

My wife has just used it for less than 5 months when I found it stopped working today. I can't believe this factor, though I heard similar issues online before.
Save yourself the extra money, unless you really think that you need to hook your phone up to your toothbrush. Overpriced, overteched product. Have been a fan of Sonicare for over 20 years. but this is not necessary. I have never synced it with the app and never finish the extra long cycle.
