[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great charging with glass, multiple options for brushing modes. Easy to pair with phone for feedback
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using soniccare toothbrushes since the early 90’s and this is by far your best brush ever. I love how it cleans my teeth, gums, and tongue. But what I think is the best part is that you can connect with your phone, real time, and it gives you real time feedback on how you using your brush with suggestions on how to do it better. Slower movements, staying in 1 position longer. I beboeve it makes brushing your teeth even better for the best oral hygiene ever. Thank you
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been nothing but pleased since I purchased this toothbrush. It works well and holds a charge for a very long time. (Better than Oral B)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charging is easy with the cup and charge lasts several weeks.

I really loved this toothbrush - But then a few weeks ago, it started turning on randomly at night (Which is super loud and Alarming to wake up to…) And now it’s dead. For such an expensive product, you’d think it would last longer!

Having used Sonicare toothbrushes for 20+ years, IMO, the durability and quality of this toothbrush is far inferior to the older versions of Sonicare products we've owned. The pressure sensitive light indicator is impossible to see since it's located on the bottom of the toothbrush. Since we don't have our cell phones available everytime we brush our teeth, we find the smart ability worthless since you have to be connected via Bluetooth to the app for any data analysis. We still don't understand why Sonicare doesn't relocated or re-engineer the position of the buttons on the handle to avoid accidental setting changes while brushing your teeth - just not allowing changes while the power is on would be helpful. Either way and with everything just said, I would never be without my Sonicare ... absolutely love them.
Pros: easily deep clean teeth and gums, looks good on counter, quad timer for efficient brushing, great for gums
Cons: getting too expensive, not as durable as older models, replacement brushes are costly, easier to have individual sonicares, than having to change brush heads

Didn't Last

[Employee of philipsglobal] Pretty early on, I noticed mold starting to form between the toothbrush body and the toothbrush head. I Tried to clean this off (scrubbed it) but couldnt quite seem to get all of the gunk off. I shrugged this off and made sure that I would stay diligent about keeping that little space clean after each brush. I did just that, and the mold spot STILL got worse. It's 2 years later now, and although the toothbrush still works fine, I cannot get this mold off and I'm uncomfortable putting this in my mouth (possibly ingesting it). SO! Clean your toothbrush early and often! The moment the mold/mildew starts, you're not getting rid of it.

While I’m very satisfied when it’s working rarely does sonic care toothbrush last a year 3 -9 months is average life span out of 11 toothbrush units I have purchased First one lasted 2 years + then next one lasted couple months Went with cheaper models and they were even worse Gets loud and brush head axle gets real loose and it is then useless Since ridiculous fancy features started quality completely gone Going to try other brands

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with your Sonicare toothbrushes and that they have not lasted as long as you had hoped. At Philips, we strive to provide our customers with high-quality products that are both durable and reliable. We would like to inform you that Sonicare toothbrushes use powerful vibrations to clean your teeth. The sound produced is louder than a manual toothbrush. If this is your first electric toothbrush, it can take a while to get used to electric brushing. If you turn on your toothbrush without a brush head, it will make more noise. Always ensure that a brush head is attached to your toothbrush. If your toothbrush makes an abnormally loud noise, a loose brush head may be the reason. Ensure the brush head is firmly placed on the handle and not loose. A small gap will remain between the handle and brush head as needed for vibration. It could also mean that your brush head is worn. We recommend replacing your brush head every three months. You can purchase a new brush head in our online store.
