I lovefthe feature of syncing with my phone. Love the charger. I find I get an excessive amount of “spray “ all over my sink, mirror and faucet when I brush. I have to clean up with paper towels.
It has helped me brush much better!!! I like that it not only buzzes when time to change area to brush, but like the APP where it shows me areas I need to improve. I love the different heads which help to concentrate on areas of concern.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great brush with a sensitive sensor

I have been a Sonicare user for over 15 years. I was asked to review the Philips DiamondClean Smart toothbrush and received a free sample in exchange for my honest opinion. Here`s what I love and don`t love about this toothbrush...
Pros: - Nice, sleek design that is much lighter than my other Sonicare brushes (original Pro series series and Essence) - Cool glass cup charger vs. regular plastic base with other models - Keeps a charge much longer than other electronic toothbrushes - Comes with three different smart brush heads (gum care, whitening, and plaque control), which automatically personalizes your brushing program - 4 brushing modes : clean, white, gum health and deep clean - 3 intensity modes: low, med, high - Built-in timer for each mode with beep - Pressure sensor with vibration and light on bottom of brush handle (I found this feature helpful, but annoying) - Travel case - Sonicare App, which tracks your brushing
Cons: - Expensive, especially replacement smart brush heads - Pressure sensor is too sensitive and activates easily - App will only report correct info. if you brush in the correct zones as specified - The caps/covers on brush heads are a little awkward to put on and only cover the front, leaving the back exposed. (I prefer the other type that slip over the entire head for maximum germ protection, plus they stay on better)
Overall I enjoy using this toothbrush, but feel it could use a bit of tweaking to make it perfect. The pressure sensor is helpful, but is much too sensitive as I barely let it sit against my teeth and it would activate. The only real way to get a good report with the app is to brush in the specified zones during the specified times of each program mode. If you are able to do this, it`s a great way to see how you are brushing. I love how nice and light this brush is and how long the battery lasts. The glass cup holder is much nicer looking on my bathroom counter than my other traditional charging bases. The three intensity modes give you a great, clean mouth when you are finished. I like that the brush head is more like a regular toothbrush shape, but wish the cap covered the whole head, instead of just the front. With these minor changes, I feel this brush would be my ideal brush. I will pretty much continue to be a satisfied Sonicare user, but I hope the price comes down a bit as the suggested retail price is a bit steep.
If you want a brush with all the bells and whistles, the Philips DiamondClean toothbrush is the one for you!
Pros: nice sleek design that is much lighter, cool glass cup charger, keeps a charge much longer than other brushes, 4 brushing modes, 3 intensity modes: low med high, built-in timer for each mode with beep, pressure sensor with vibration and light, travel case, sonicare app
Cons: expensive especially replacement smart brushes, pressure sensor is too sensitive, cap only covers front of brush head, app only reports correctly if you brush as defined
Buttons are always getting turned off due to the way they set on the brush head.Charging system with just the one glass charger not good. Overall not worth the money paid...

Rip off

Bluetooth takes for ever to connect so I never use it. Just bought new heads which are exorbitantly expensive, and the head is less than 2 weeks old and the bristles are falling out in clumps. Very unhappy. Feeling ripped off
Cons: very expensive, complicated, heads are poor quality, waist of time

I purchased this tooth brush on the suggestion of my dentist. So far it is working great my teeth have never been this clean. So that part I am loving. The one thing I do not like about this tooth brush is the app and the programing of the brush. The brush is programed to shut off after a specified amount of time. I an not an exact amount of time kind of girl. Sometimes I need more time. Yes, I can turn the brush back on and finish not a big deal except that it makes the App almost useless. For example tonight, I needed a few more seconds so I turned the brush back on finished up then turned it off. The app only registered the 10 seconds of the second start. Also on the screen where it shows you the areas you need to spend more time it showed only the area brushed that last 10 seconds. So the brush is great but the app needs some tweaks.

Bought this because I have problems with stains and gum recession, very gentle on the gums and removes lots of plaque and stains.
