Excellent earphones

Bought about 6 mnonths ago, these are amazing. Sound is excellent, goes extremely loud, and love the ability to EQ the earphones to my liking :). They stick out a bit but look pretty sleek. I can seemlessly switch between Ambient Mode, where I can interct with people, and Noise Cancelling (which is excellent!). They go really loud, azll my earphones in the past I'd play at full volume, these AZ10's I play at like 60-70%. Great earphones, I hihly recommend them!

Not worth the money

Overall, I’m disappointed in the quality for the price. The case feels very cheap. I feel like the lid is going to snap off on the first drop. Ear pieces feel heavier and better quality. The noise canceling is sub par and ambient noise sound if weird and unnatural. I splurged on these based on prior Technics products I’ve owned and research on current ear bud options. My apple airpods were starting to fail. I would buy apple airpods if I was given a do over.

Great buds but 1 flaw...

Excellent earbuds, sound quality is the best ive had, noise cancellation is right up there as well.. the custoization capabilities of the technics app is top shelf... my only complaint is all but manufacturers including technics need to put some kind of light texture in the plastic molding of the buds... They are way way to slippery to try to hang on to while inserting them..Somthing needs to be done to make the buds easier to hold long enough to insert them, they are ridiculously to slippery...

Perfect sound, but dont fit my ear well

almost perfect for me. the sounds with LDAC is slightly more clear than ACC. the microphone is superb. the only thing that cost a little is the fitment. it would hurt my ear after an hour use. I also wish to have assign EQ to certain bluetooth connection on the software end.

Great Multi connection

Just got these earbuds 10/20/25. very excited with the multi device connection due to work phone, personal phone and work computer. it works seamlessly from one device to the next. exactly what i was looking for. sound quality is also really good. the transparency is great on these as well. Also the noise cancellation is pretty amazing. the only thing is the comfort. the only earbuds i had with the most comfort is the Samsung pro 2 earbuds. I have used the Sony 1000XM5 and Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra and Samsung Pro 2 and Pro 3 and would put Technics AZ 100 as number 1.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ergonomics!

I want to like these because the tech is good, sounds above average for sure. Having said that, terrible execution on fit. I can't even eat popcorn without it falling out. I mean what is the point? Yes, I tried all the sized inserts. These buds are top heavy so they naturally will wiggle their way out. There are a gazillion designs technics could have come up with to prevent this; my recommendation is for the design to get a better understand on how the jawline impacts the ear and other muscles that impact the ear.
It's such a disappointment because I really want a refund.

Great Noise Canceling, but loose magnets?!, Why?!

After a few years of Sont 1000XM4. I felt a need for better noise cancellation and better sound quality IEMs. I spent many hours researching through articles and videos about the best true wireless IEMs with ANC, longer battery life, and LDAC support. Ultimately, I opted for the Technics AZ100 over the Sony 1000XM5, and I'm impressed; they sound very good, noise cancelling is much better, and the battery lasts a full day on mid volume. But the AZ100 does have some drawbacks, first being the case magnets that barely attract the IEMs, and second, the IEM's magnets don't attract them to stick together nicely. Another drawback is the custom sound canal, which requires specific tips, and I have a hard time finding foam tips for better noise isolation and comfort. I wish the mobile app had an option to set when the batteries should charge the IEMs based on their battery level and keep them between 20 - 80% battery. Other than that, I'm still happy with the sound and overall comfort. Hope Technics will learn something from my feedback, and with the next generation I will not switch back to SONY! :)
