The EAH-AZ80 was my daily earbuds for the last 2 years, and I loved them. Wouldn't leave home without them. I knew Technics was going to follow up with a successor, and so I waited patiently, while being tempted at other brands/models that were released in 2024. Then it was finally announced, and it was everything I was hoping for and more; somehow, they made it more compact, with better ANC and better battery life, and most importantly, better sounding, for the same price (or very close to it) as the AZ80. Needless to say, this replaced my beloved AZ80, but I'm keeping both - they're too good to get rid of.
I would recommend this to a friend!

High-quality design and clear sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is really nice, and the earbuds themselves feel super high-quality and look very cool. However, the sound quality is just okay. I notice a lot of high EQ, but it’s missing that deeper low-end bass that I like. The sound is clear, but it doesn’t feel loud or full enough for my taste. Overall, they look amazing and feel durable, but I was hoping for a richer sound experience.

Amazing

Noise isolation is also really good and when you get the app, you can control the settings of the headphones. My only concern is that I lost them because there isn’t really strong tracking for the headphones, the battery life stays very long. I haven’t had to charge them And they’re comfortable in your ears.

Great except in an iphone an incoming call rings on the phone and not in the ear buds. Any suggestions i've tried the accessibility info etc

If incoming calls from iPhones are ringing on the phone and not the earbuds, it might be related to a setting on your iPhone rather than the earbuds. We recommend reconnecting the earbuds to your iPhone. Please make sure to test the earbuds with another cell phone to see if the rings come in through the buds or the phone. AZ 100 Technics ear buds.

Excellent sounding buds, crystal clear with plenty of bass and loaded with features. They must be fitted snug and correctly to get the correct noise canceling but once they’re fitted it’s almost completely quiet. I was just on a flight to Florida and could barely hear the plane “hum” once I had the buds in correctly. Also a wide selection of ear pieces to fit anyone’s ears and are comfortable and don’t fall out. Sound wise I haven’t heard better. I have buds from a well known speaker manufacturer and these technics buds blow them away and are cheaper. There is atmos and three equalizer settings and different sound fields so you can easily customize them to your taste. Noise canceling with pass thru etc…really nice. Voice enhancement for phone calls and other phone features with touch control. So much in a small package. They may take a little getting used to but once you do they are great! Highly recommended.
