The wide mouth, not so deep, seems quick and easy to clean and rinse as part of any taste good practice. Ice drinks stay iced, warm drinks stay warm!

Not for slow coffee drinkers

Not recommended for slow coffee drinkers because your coffee will get cold. My husband likes it though. The reason why I'm not returning.

So-so, below expectations

This product is fine, though it performs below the expectations set by the listing.
For example, as of this moment, the online product description notes that the mug is "dishwasher safe." But the package I received indicates that it should be hand-washed, as dishwashing can discolor the coating. Sure enough, the first time I washed it -- on the top rack in a pretty ordinary dishwasher -- the coating did discolor. Also, while the description says it keeps liquids hot for 12 hours, I've found that after about six hours, hot coffee is just somewhat warm, and no longer satisfying. (It keeps coffee hot for about three hours.)
Neither of these problems is awful; as noted, the mug is just "fine." But I had expected more based on the description provided by Fellow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Carter Wide Mug is now my go-to drinking vessel for everything except coffee, which I drink from my Carter Move Travel Mug (because it DOES NOT spill!). I have finally found the perfect alternative to plastic drink ware!

I love the simplicity, just a lid without any fancy contraptions that get dirty and hard to clean. Also it doesn’t have the bad taste due to the ceramic inside.
