Exceeds Expectations Once Again

I've been a Fellow guy since the first Atmos canisters rolled out, love their product line. This is my third Carter mug, I've been through two of the standard size 12oz, and loved them both. This time I wanted to try the wider stouter wide version and so far I've loved it. Especially love the conspiracy club option haha. Great product as always.

My partner has been using a carter wide mug for a while and I finally decided that I needed my own. I wasn’t obsessed with the somewhat bland color options available when I ordered but I’m happy I decided on a white mug — an excellent background for fun colorful stickers! So far an A+ overall. Great heat retention. It is just baaaaarely big enough to use with an aeropress, which fits easily at first but as the heat makes the plastic filter cap expand slightly while brewing it gets snug inside the mug opening, so you just have to wiggle it loose.

If you love coffee

I love my Carter Wide Mug! I've been drinking my morning coffee from a regular tumbler, and I've always hated how my coffee tasted like metal. I was searching for the best tumbler for coffee and I found Fellow Carter Mug. I'm so happy that I found this! I usually drink lungo, so I went with the 12 oz. I was torn between the Move Mug and the Wide Mug, but I chose the Wide because it’s easier to clean since coffee stains easily. It also perfectly fits my Nespresso original line machine. It would’ve been even better if it fit in my car’s cup holder, but that’s not a big deal for me.

Great for use at home

Initially, I thought I would never buy this product because it does not fit in the cupholder in my car. Why would I buy a mug that does not fit in my car? But one Black Friday, I impulsively put a sale one in my cart and now I drink from it every day. It is a nice “at home” mug, keeps my coffee warm for a lot longer than a regular mug, and if I want to leave my coffee for a little longer, I can put the lid on and it really keeps it warm. I like that the wide part makes it more like a cup you’d use at home.

I have used this for a couple of weeks now, and it makes me so happy. I do not like drinking lukewarm coffee, and I despise a stainless steel travel mug (so much delicious coffee flavor gets lost). I love to make a good cup from my Aeropress and had read to purchase the Wide over the Move. I’m so glad I did! The Wide just barely accommodates my Aeropress base with hardly any wiggle room—it’s tricky removing the Aeropress—so I know the Move would have disappointed me there. But the Wide gives me the best of both worlds: a delicious Aeropress-prepared cup, plus the full flavor and perfect heat I love. Fellow hit a bullseye here!

Please make splash guard

I like the shorter and wider version of the Carter Mug, although I wish I could purchase a splash guard like the regular size. It's just a few mm away from fitting in my car's cup holder perfectly, but it stays put enough. Coffee stays very hot for a long time, and if I leave the cap off I can cool it down faster because there's more surface area exposed.
