the perfect size

I purchased the 16oz carter mug a year or two ago and have loved it, but sometimes it was just a little too much mug for me. The carter wide has been the perfect solution to this problem: comfortably short but a tad wider so as to not lose too much capacity.
There are only two downsides for me:
1) since it’s wider than the standard carter mug, I can’t use any of my other carter mug lids with it (I have every other lid except one) - obviously this makes sense, it’s just an intrinsic downside to it imo.
2) it doesn’t come with a splash guard like the standard carter mug. The splash guard is honestly maybe my favorite feature of the carter mug, so it’s definitely a bummer to not have that feature with my new (and now more frequented) carter wide mug.
Those two factors aside, I love it!

Love this mug. Was searching for a wide mouth mug that seals well, keeps coffee hot enough through the day and that does not degrade the flavors and tastes. So far, this is it.

Stays warm for hours

This is my favorite coffee mug, I bought a second one since I had dropped my first one so many times it became cratered with dents.
It is very sturdy and looks great. The wide open is perfect for making areopress.

Great mug - especially paired with the Stagg dripper

This is the third Carter Wide Mug that I have owned. They are great mugs. I use it with a Fellow Stagg dripper - it's a perfect match. I like the wide mug because it is shorter than the regular mug, and I feel like I won't tip it over as I make coffee. I like the ceramic coating - which definitely maintains the true flavor of the coffee and is really easy to clean. I highly recommend it!

Love the mugs, always have, always will! Of course they are great for hot coffee but to be honest, even better for iced coffee, also super great for an iced cold beer…stays cold from the first sip to the last!

Let Simple Win

These are superior to any travel mug or thermos we've used for one very specific reason: simplicity. This mug is genuinely that: a cup. It has a reasonably secure screw top lid so you can get your beverage from one place to another, and then you remove that lid and have a NORMAL (insulated) cup. No moving parts that inevitably fail, no weird button or locking mechanism, just... Cup with Lid. Far more pleasant to drink from and less finicky to use and clean.

The Carter wide is my favorite! I love the size and feel of the mug, easy to clean, and the taste quality of my drink due to the ceramic lining inside makes LFG.
