Really wanted to like this

The functionality and the benefits of the mug are great and perform as it is marketed but the mug itself SMELLS, like it’s been holding leftover takeout for weeks. The smell is hard to ignore when drinking from the mug. I noticed the smell after the first use but maybe thought that was just part of the “new” smell but after a full use for week (washed and air dried after each use) it never went away. Fellow customer service was excellent and they sent me a replacement that had the same issue. Have read that this is an issue with others as well- disappointed that this didn’t work out.

Yellow carter mug - Lid discoloration

I’ve a few products from fellow that i would gladly give 5 stars, however this YELLOW carter mug isn’t one of them. With barely any use, the lid is starting to discolor into a different shade of yellow. I have not had this issue with any of my other fellow mugs. Would not recommend.

Looks Better than It Works

While the design is streamlined and the color is pretty I found that, when left open, my coffee became cold very quickly. I didn’t expect to have to constantly open and close the mug to keep coffee warm. Also, it does not work with the aero press, as advertised. The fellow aero press attachment I use is too big to easily fit over the mug to brew directly into it. I would fellow products to be compatible with each other. I do appreciate smelling my coffee as I drink it and the curved lip is a nice touch. I may, however, go back to my Japanese thermos and keep this mug for cold kombucha.

A little too wide for small/medium hands, a very nice rim and thermal hold. Haven’t tried it with different types of liquids yet, but the wide mouth makes it easy to wash

I am a true coffee lover, but have always found portable containers to be unpleasant and "functional." This product keeps coffee from leaking in my bag, but allows me to enjoy the experience of drinking coffee when I reach my destination. and it's chic! highly recommend.
