First-time Disappointment in a Samsung Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a longtime fan of Samsung products, and have had several cellphones of theirs over the years, all which have been wonderful.
Alas, the A16 has been disappointing since getting it in late April/early May 2025. It seems very sluggish, and constantly freezes up on me. Yes, I got it as a free upgrade on my T-MOBILE plan, but had my usual high expectations for a great phone. Won't not get a Samsung phone again, but can't recommend the A16 in the 8 months or so that I've had it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My phone has given me absolutely zero issues, I can stream, game, and download/upload with almost no delay. The recording quality of the camera is just as crisp and clear as or sometimes better than most phones I've used in the past. My favorite feature of the Samsung Galaxy series is the Pro Camera feature. It has consistently had the best quality I've ever seen on a phone for photography on any level.

This product does what I need it to do

I use it to manage my children's schoolwork, pay bills etc. I use the sidebar menu for quick access to my alarm clock, notepad, and frequently used apps. Of course, I use social media daily on my phone. Galaxy AI helps me in a multitude of ways, from captioning posts to social media to researching countless topics.
