This Galaxy A1 has held up well. Indispensible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone all the time. To: 1 Keep in touch with family who lives too far away to go see. It's a real lifeline. 2. I don't have cable TV so I use it for entertainment. To keep up with the news. Not much News on TV. 3. For social media to keep in touch with friends and keep up with local news and local activities. 4. To research the latest prices locally. Grocery ads, Pharmacy communication.
UTube subscriptions to keep up with what's going on in the world. Some posters can be trusted to keep up with what's going on with Russia and Ukraine for instance. They post links about where they get their info so I can fact check them. The TV news is biased.
5. To keep up with banking and pay bills. No more lost mail, no more stamps.
6. To keep all my photos. To keep my recipes and to look up recipes online. No more bulky cookbooks.
What would we do without our phones? I can remember when it was land lines only, just for phonecalls. It's a world of difference.
And my phone is practicly indestructible. It seems. They're built better nowadays.

A16 is a good cheap phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phones AI features are wonderful. The phone is also pretty fast and has a large storage space which I really like. This phone is not the Galaxy S24 that I previously owned but lost, however it is a very good cheap phone.

I don't understand or like the RSC, chat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every phone has this problem, forcing me to soft ware update. The RSC chat is not a good thing thing. The instructions to use or operate the phone is confusing and useless.

We encourage you to update your device whenever a new version is available to enjoy the best performance. When it comes to messaging options, you have some choices. If RCS isn't your thing, you can stick with the classic SMS. Samsung Messages comes already installed on Galaxy phones and tablets running One UI 6.0 and earlier versions. To see which software version your device is running, go to Settings, then About phone or About tablet, and tap on Software information. If Samsung Messages is already there, you'll find it on your Home screen. Alternatively, swipe up from the Home screen to open the Apps menu, then tap the Samsung Messages app in the Samsung folder. This is my second smartphone and I love it

I use it primarily for shopping and investigating things I am interested in and it's a breeze to use. I have tinkered with the customization but keep changing it about once a week. Still fast and keeps me informed and on time for stuff, great little all around helper.

Worst samsung device ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My galaxy A16 is the absolute worst galaxy phone ever produced. The touch screen doesn't work properly. I have to restart the phone every morning to stop an lag in using this phone. It may operate fine for an hour or two, but then the lag in service makes the phone unusable for roughly 30min
