Overcharge errors for State e-file fees

Turbo Tax Home & Business Advantage Customers are promised $20 state efile fees, yet Turbo Tax charges $25 plus tax (the normal fee) to my credit card when going to the payment page. Had to stay on the line for over an hour to receive $10 refund to my credit card for my first 2 state efiles and then told to call back after I do my next 2 state e-files. This is a system issue they need to fix. Also, I would have expected more compensation other than the base refund for my wasted time working out this issue with Turbo Tax. Associate should be empowered to send me a free state efile and call it good. Waste of my time. Very disappointed.

It is a little difficult to understand when correcting errors recommended. Takes a little time getting used to it and finding your way around.

TurboTax User for Decades

I have been using TurboTax for over a decade and it has always delivered excellent service with no issues with IRS. This year (2024) was my first time using TurboTax for my small business and it was great. It helped me take care of my 1099 forms seamlessly. I was very pleased again!
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments
