Turbo Tax is Highly Competent

In general I had a good experience with the software. It correctly filled out all the required forms based on my inputs. The software did tip me off to an Excludable income situation related to a Medicaid Waiver Payment. I had to do some research on this topic, and then fill out a schedule C in the proper manner to report such information. Turbotax was able to label the excludable income properly, but only after I updated the schedule C per the IRS guidance, and then I had to find the correct place to list the excludable income in order to prompt the labeling of this information in Part V as "Notice 2014-7". It took some looking around to find where to enter the excludable income, but one I found the spot to list the Medicare Waiver Payment, the correct labeling appeared in Part B.

Great but confusing to a senior-1st time user

It was a bit confusing at first (1st time user) but got easier. Tried to get a live person to help in the end when the electronic submission would not work. It said to update but I never found this feature. I gave up and decided to mail in my form.
