Never notified of Form availability

If you have to leave the step by step instructions process it is extremely difficult to get back to the same place with the same questions to be answered. I had extreme difficulty with QBI (I wanted to make sure that I understood it completely) and Form 4835. At first I was unable to complete Form 4835 because it was still being worked on by the IRS, THEN I never received notification from Turbo Tax that the Form was available. It then took several hours to get the numbers input correctly. I had originally input directly on the Form 4835 then attempted to go back and create the form via step by step. I should have never input directly on to the Form 4835. Reconciliation to step by step was a nightmare.

Wrong zip code

Turbo Tax had the wrong zip code for one of 1099Rs. It would not let me use the one that came from company, in NC but forced me to use the zip code for their headquarters in San Diego. This had better not delay my filing. I did request a ticket for that to be fixed. Google show quite a few people having that problem with different companies

This year has been complete nightmare. Your system cannot handle the tax information completely, has trouble downloading the prior year's return, drops some of the comparison yearly numbers, cannot complete the sale of a business use auto without screwing up the gain or loss

TT25 needs work

Negatives: No integration of It's deductible, and having to retype all donations and carry them over manually. Simplifying terrible at this point. AI through a number of programs helped but why isn't this part of Turbo Tax! Also: Overly complicated the sale of my vehicle and business use % for gain/loss. Again, using AI Lumo/Chat GPT was much better in giving advice. The BBB (big beautiful bill) and w2 was not accurate, and I had to figure out how to enter it manually. Interview and forms did not sync up if edit separately.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax - 2025

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years. For the most part, it is easy to understand and follow. My main frustration was the delay of having some of the forms available. Form 1099-R is helpful for tax planning. I could have used the full capability sooner for planning ROTH conversion amounts for the year. Hopefully, next year these will be available sooner.
