Turbo Tax is disappointment

Program is getting more complicated and can not even recognize common mistakes (such as a personal data). When you will receive rejection from e filing, do not expect that program give you clear explanation how to fixed. You need additional money to call for help. AI helper is useless ans can not explain even code of rejection. The quality of Turbo tax significantly decrease in last decade.

My family loves Turbo Tax. Some of us need the Home & Business version and some just need the free online version, but there is a perfect option for everyone.

State Tax is Never Correct

The Alabama state tax computation never seems to be accurate. I have to do a detail review every year and figure out how to fix. This year it did not handle our Roth conversions correctly. It was adding them to the 1099-R resulting in double taxing.

Customer Service was Amazing!

For the first time in years, I had a problem with the software. The customer support person was amazing!! It took quite a while and help from another expert to figure out that I had the wrong version of a Microsoft product installed on my computer. After getting the updates, I started my taxes all over again and things ran smoothly. Thank you so much Sharee!!!

Very unhappy that your latest tax software wouldn't run on my 6 year old Apple MacBook Pro laptop, so I had to upgrade it at significant expense.
Every American should support the Fair Tax Act (HR25), a bill in Congress to eliminate the IRS, eliminate all Federal Income Taxes, and implement a National Sales Tax. Filing tax returns is a complete waste of time, and a national sales tax is the best way to fund out government.

I always use Turbotax. This year's software has worked out the problems with the 403B retirement issues, etc. I was very happy with this year's software. Everything was perfect.

I've used TTax for years now. My only complaint this year: I needed to upgrade to full Business version because I need to file a 1041. Unfortunately, that version doesn't run on a Mac, it PC only, BOOOO! I ended up doing it myself manually using Grok AI. hmmmm that might be an option for next year, just bypass TTax and let Grok talk me through it. HA
