turbo tax takes a step backwards

This was the most difficult time i had completing a return. Stop asking to download information it should be a one time question. Just bring forward information from prior years and stop unnecessary jumping through unnecessary screens lots easier last year. stop trying to sell your product throughout the software once is enough

Filing is all messed up.

I E-filed Federal. I print and mail my State. California. instruction says do not mail your return it has been e-filed. NO IT HAS NOT BEEN. Now it will not let me try to get the address or go back and try to e-file. Fix this please.

BAD MOVE TURBO TAX

Terrible that you thought it useful to remove "It's Deductible" from your program. What purpose did it serve you that you thought it better to remove an aspect of this program that people have been using for years. People are EXTREMELY ANGRY, as am I, as it caused me many more hours to finish my return than I would have normally spent. THIS IS AND WAS A VERY BAD MOVE ON YOUR PART...and no amount of "we apologize for the inconvenience" platitudes will make up for it. Am rethinking ever using your programming again....losing a longtime customer is very much at risk. Lastly....your idea of what constitutes profanity is ridiculous.....especially give it's what people do every day with a straw.....but then again....it really applies in this case BIG TIME.

I purchased a turbo tax Home & Business Federal + State. Given the title, I would expect the E-File expense to be included. However, buried in the fine print it is noted that there is an additional state e-file fee. The advertising is misleading. In addition, there are many attempts to upcharge with additional service throughout the program. This is already one of the most expensive software's on the market without additional fees.

Where did the fair market value tool go??

Of course I like Turbo Tax but I'm not happy the fair market value tool was not available for my charitable donations. That has always been a big help. I had to jump through hoops to get all those values this time.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Have been using Turbo Tax for many years with good success. I have never been audited and feel the features are excellent and user friendly. The information appears accurate since I have never been audited. It is compatible with my level of expertise on tax issues.
