Same Turbotax just not as friendly..

Experience was similar to previous years except the access to supporting details forms did not work for detailing dividends from US treasury sources. I had to go into the "forms" to get the pop-up supporting details to work. Very inconvenient.

2025 Home & Business Edition is OK, not Great

This year's version of TurboTax for Home & Business was difficult to use and was not very intuitive. I am a CPA & use TurboTax for my personal returns. Quite a few (more than past years) business topics were not clear and difficult to understand. For instance, there was no clear indication of the Safe Harbor election for expensing rather than depreciating business assets less than $2,500. The questions surrounding this topic were very unclear and not intuitive to the user.

What an abomination!

This was a horrific experience. The UI is an abomination. It seemed to just unilaterally change my totals even when I hadn't made any changes. I had to start over and redo my returns several times and I never got the same final number twice.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax works for me!

I save all my data throughout the year and start on Turbo Tax in December. I work on it, using the step-by-step process for the most part. This year I worked on inserting my data for 2 1/2 months. I always review every worksheet and form and print out copies of 'as filed' and all worksheets. 143 pages this year!
