A bit painful...

1) I was filing an old return which can not be e-filed anymore. Turbo Tax Desktop should have allowed me to download the software for multiple states (and I was happy to pay for these) but no state could be downloaded for 2nd state, as the system repeatedly failed to connect online and take payment.
2) There should be a master sheet or Table of Contents, which shows you where in the grand scheme you are; otherwise you can feel you are going in circles sometimes. 3) Too rigid overall.

Turbo tax is seemless

Turbo Tax has been my seamless advisor for over 20 years. The internal advisor that's available has provided excellent advice when I need clarity on a specific topic. I can't imagine using any other tax software package.

Quick forms lacks Copy A for W3, 1099-nec/misc 25

The desktop version produces all needed Copy A for the W3, 1099-misc and 1099-nec, as well instruction sheet. However, online version does not include instructions for 42/3 and all 1099 nec/misc.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Print and save your returns while you can

It is appalling that I paid for a one-time license to use this software, with a local copy stored on my computer, and I cannot even open files older than three years to print them. That is not the agreement under which I purchased the software, and it is unacceptable for taxes where retained access is crucial. I will not be buying your product again in the future.
