Error "tax summary itemref is marked as estimated" but no way to find the error or estimated value. None of the forms showed an error either

Turbo Tax is only good for simple returns

It can't handle complex K-1's. Seems fine for basic returns. I also find the interface difficult to use - for instance, why can't I upload a K-1? That would be loads easier. I have wasted so much time putting in K-1 information manually

Easy to use

Once I have gathered all the necessary forms and information, filing a tax return is so easy, way better than taking it to a tax professional.

NEW and different problems every year!

Super not happy about the billing at the end (where, exactly, did my $10 "club discount" disappear to? It showed on the final bill, but as soon as I tried to pay to file *poof*, it disappears ...unless I want to pay a $45 "premium service" fee (which is, as far as I can tell, is simply a blatant money grab -- no actual benefit or "service" is added). Adding to that, Turbotax was INSISTING that it needed a whole bunch of random, info on depreciation on a vehicle that I (repeatedly) defined as standard mileage only. Stupid.

Turbo Tax for the win!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and while our tax returns have gotten more complex Turbo Tax continues to make completing and filing easy to navigate.

Foreign Sourced Income and taxes is a disaster

I can't believe that TurboTax still has not fixed the Foreign Tax Credit step by step. If you have more than one 1099 form and multiple countries to report foreign source income/taxes, the step by step is a mess. Every year I have to go into the forms and hand enter all the info, and try to force the links from not getting messed up by the program.
It would be expected that a mature product like turbo tax would be able to figure out the numbers for form 2210 without me having to enter them.

Same bugs I've had for years. I go through the wizards, then it finds errors. I just put what it asked for! The errors make no sense. Need to be a CPA to use this
