One bone to pick: I want to print out some of the pages at the end, like the signature page, successful filing page, etc. Why don't you enable that?

TurboTax Areas Needing Improvement

The software is invaluable but requires more work than necessary. Example one: application for automatic extension of time to file is a nightmare. This is pretty much an insult. Example two: managing capital gains is much more awkward and confusing/opaque than it should be. There is zero guidance as to what qualifies for reporting via 1099-Bs only. Example three: your explanation of California adjustments is inadequate: I had to leave about $5000 of excluded foreign source or other state income unclaimed because there was insufficient guidance for deducting this.

It gets more clunky and annoying every year

It's a total pain at this point and it feels like I'm using software from 2002. This will be the last year I use turbotax.

Happy with my TurboTax Experience

As a small business owner, I found TurboTax 2024 easy to use and seemingly quite accurate. It helped me to easily import my business expenses, and the interface was intuitive to use at each stage. I liked the fact that could easily save during the process, and the program would return to where I left-off.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments
