Poor Software Updates

I've been using TT since the 90's, it has gone down in ease of use and ability to corollate input from different sections.
The latest issue that I found was the $10 credit for use on add-ons to TT.
Even though I had just done a complete update to the software before filing my 2024 return that was due for my requested extension it showed a $10 credit towards my $25 state e-filing. Only after completing the transaction did I see I was charged the full $25. After much time/research I discovered the credit had expired!
Why would the software continue to show a credit after it has expired and the software was updated?
TT, you need to do better.

Disappointed-Windows 11 requirement

Even though I have been a long time customer of TurboTax for over 15 years now, I regret that I will be using another tax software TaxAct next year because I would have to upgrade my computer (very expensive) to be able to use Windows 11 even though I have extended the security updates on my Window 10. - I do not want to use your On-line service. Since TaxAct and others will support Windows 10, I have no other choice but to switch because right now I cannot afford to purchase a new computer. It's been great, but I'm sorry we will have to part ways. Let me know if anything changes and you will allow Windows 10, with the extended Security updates to us TurboxTax next year.

The Best ... Really Made a Difficult Job Easier

Turbo Tax saved the day ... We sadly lost our cherished brother in law who graciously provided our entire family with tax preparation services ... so we decided to do ours this year. As a long time user of Quicken and a previous user of TurboTax (not to mention the same software used by my BIL), I found it very straightforward to use. It was easy to enter the information and it provided simple explanations for the "legalese" of our tax language. I also liked that it took care of the math ... reducing the mistakes I know I would be making using paper and a calculator. While I did take advantage of the compatibility with Quicken as much as I would like, I can see that for 2025 I will be more prepared to use that feature. Thanks for a great product.

TurboTax could be made more intuitive

I have always found TurboTax to be confusing and not very intuitive. Some suggestions:
1. Under "personal Income", the screen for dividends and interest listed by financial institution, does not specify "who" the income belongs too. You have to click on each item to see who it belongs to (for joint return). Would be helpful to display the name on the first summary page.
2. RMD entry is not very obvious.
3. There are many places where you check a box and when you go back the box is unchecked??
